Well established and reputable South African manufacturer of superior cosmetics, toiletries and household products based in Midrand is seeking a Research and Development Technician to research and develop new toiletries, skincare and haircare products
Key Responsibilities:- Research and develop new toiletries, skincare and haircare products
- Liaise with clients re project status
- Carry out stability testing on all new and existing products and issue stability reports
- Reformulate existing formulae
- Organize samples for trial products
- Report on development progress
- Issue ingredient lists for clients
- Liaise with suppliers to source new materials
Desired Education:
- Matric
- BSC/National Diploma in Chemistry/Food Technology/Microbiology
- 3-5 years new product R&D experience
- Experience in up-scaling and validation of product batches
